ts some txt brrrrrr
This anime is weird..it had one of the most unique premises and some gorgeous animation, It touches upon the main characters' personal trauma and issues, and while I can't particularly relate to most of them I can tell it did a great job of representing them (atleast for the first 9 episodes), I really liked the anime's dark themes and enjoyed all the initial 12 episodes even the ones that didn't do the plot justice (mainly ep12,11) but it was ok atleast until we got betrayed with the special that kinda ruined everything and I think everyone who watched the show knows why ,but here's a youtube video that kinda defends the episode and I think he did a great job.
re zero is PEAK I remember waiting eagerly every wednesday in 2020 and 2021 to watch the second season even though it wasn't at the same level as s1 it still was the best anime of its season at the time (yes im a glazer),season one though was on a WHOLE other level than any isekai ever, it had none of those annoying tropes with the overpowered mc and the oversexualised harem chasing after him,its imotional impact is still unmatched and the main character went through a really interesting arc, not even mentioning the hype moments that landed insanely hard as the production quality really helped them pop off,and for s3 it was suprisingly close to s1 and it definitely had a lot of hype having the most fights and action scenes and expanding upon the side characters more though some of the fights were a bit disapointing espicially the fight against regulus it was overall an amazing season , my main issues with this anime are mainly from the excessive cuts from the ln as well as a lot of the boring unnecesary dialogue (I know two contrasting points but they make sense to me) as well as some flaws in the chareacters and unresolved plot holes, but all in all an amazing watch.
After a horrific alchemy experiment goes wrong in the Elric household, brothers Edward and Alphonse are left in a catastrophic new reality. Ignoring the alchemical principle banning human transmutation, the boys attempted to bring their recently deceased mother back to life. Instead, they suffered brutal personal loss: Alphonse's body disintegrated while Edward lost a leg and then sacrificed an arm to keep Alphonse's soul in the physical realm by binding it to a hulking suit of armor. The brothers are rescued by their neighbor Pinako Rockbell and her granddaughter Winry. Known as a bio-mechanical engineering prodigy, Winry creates prosthetic limbs for Edward by utilizing "automail," a tough, versatile metal used in robots and combat armor. After years of training, the Elric brothers set off on a quest to restore their bodies by locating the Philosopher's Stone—a powerful gem that allows an alchemist to defy the traditional laws of Equivalent Exchange.
